Natural Gas Analyzers

Arnel's Natural Gas / Liquid Natural gas (LNG) Analyzers (NGA) consider all types of samples and analyze all components of interest in natural gas/liquid analysis. Optional calorific value and specific gravity calculation software is also available. The analysis of hydrogen, helium, O2, N2, CO2, H2S and light hydrocarbons from methane through decane in gas and / or liquid samples is addressed.

Standard features on all of Arnel's Natural Gas Analyzers include:

  • Availability of Pneumatic Pressure Control (PPC) for more precise and automated gas flow
  • Factory upgradeable for future expansion or system configuration changes
  • Automated, on-line, single or multi-stream sampling capabilities for complete total system integration
  • Models that have both gas and liquid sampling capability also have a sample loop purge feature that prevents contamination when changing from liquid to gas samples or gas to liquid samples
  • Models that have liquid sampling capability also have filters and back pressure regulation for proper sample introduction into the valve, plus a vaporization zone to properly inject the samples into the columns

Optional enhancements to improve your productivity include:

  • Software (Model 3062) to obtain BTU value and other sample specifications. This software also contains a merge program to combine multichannel (more than one detector) data into one report.

Please note that Natural gas does not contain unsaturated light hydrocarbons typically found in Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG). Therefore, LPG samples can not be analyzed on our standard analyzers without modification. Arnel does, however, offer a number of other analyzers (Model 4035, 4036 or Model 4037) which meets ASTM D2163 methodology for LPG analysis.
